LIVERPOOL TRACTOR PARADE 2024

On Sunday the 22nd December we attended the final event of the year when the team travelled to Merseyside for the annual Liverpool Tractor Parade. No less that 100 tractors and other agricultural vehicles, suitably decorated and illuminated took to the streets of the city on a 11 miles circular course encompassing the various sites including the Albert Dock, the Liver building, the two football stadia and importantly the famous Alder Hey Children's Hospital for which money was being raised. Spectators braved the very cold weather throughout the course and when the procession reached the hospital all the young patients could be seen at every window and viewing point to see the tractors. The owners of the vehicles were taken aback at this point, many with slightly damp eyes and all remarking 'Its made it all worth while' ! The Parade in its 5th year has raised more than £300,000 for the hospital charity up to date. We didnt have time to take photos of our team members during the event but we have some to show the tractors which were of course the stars of the show.
